Post and video may be disturbing to younger forum members, please have older parent or sibling read and watch with you.

I usually do not get bothered by horror/slasher flicks, most of the time they are so unrealistic they are almost funny, like Freddy with his butter knife gloves. But this past weekend I was bored and watched a movie called Sinister, (see clip below). This movie bothered me, it was entire families being murdered. I think at one time someone else talked about this movie here, or in the chat room.
My advice to everyone is this movie should definitely not be available to anyone under 21. I fear movies like this inspire people who have mental or anger issue's to try and carry something like this out.

So enough of my rant, just wanted to vent.

I did post a warning on your topic after reading it and watching the video. I have no desire to watch this movie at all. Depending on how you look at it, parts are disturbing. Realistically though, if someone breaks into my house, I am not going to just sit there and let them duct tape me and tie me up, neither is anyone else. The goal of the movie producer is to strike fear, and they accomplished that. I think anyone who does watch this needs to remember this is fiction, it's not real, and it's not going to happen to them, or their family.

I have twin brothers who are 13, and I would not want them to see this movie. I never heard of it but am glad someone posted about it. A fav thing for boys my brothers age to do on a sleepover is to watch scary movies, I will make sure this is not one they see. Personally I feel this crosses the line a little bit putting this movie out there as far as the studio.
Awesome that you put a warning up before the post Talyn.

Truth is, if you watch it without the sound, it's not that scary !
The plot is still gross, though !
