CRYSTAL LAKE, Ill. (WTVO) - A public visitation will be held to memorialize 5-year-old Andrew "A.J." Freund, a Crystal Lake boy who was found dead and his parents charged with his murder.
WMAQ reports that the visitation will take place on May 3rd, from 1-8 p.m. at the Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, at 419 Terra Cotta Avenue in Crystal Lake.

"AJ’s family and friends would like to the thank Crystal Lake and surrounding communities for their generosity, prayers and outpouring love and support," the obituary read. "As difficult and tragic as this is, may AJ’s death bring awareness and hope to other children living under abusive conditions. No child deserves this. Let us rise up and make sure it does not happen to other innocent children."

This is so sad that parents could be so evil as to kill their 5 year old son. The mom and dad here are monsters and evil people and should be put away for life. It's too bad Illinois does not carry out the death penalty because this man and woman deserve it.
A.J. is safe now, in God's hands, and playing with other little angels.
